"Youth for Dialogue" is a project of formation for young people, promoted by Education for an Interdependent World (EDIW), a Non-Governmental Organization from the Teresian Association, and sponsored by the European Union, with the objective of being channel of dialogue in different world realities.
With a lasting impression and gratitude, we share the echoes of joy and festive mood produced by the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the University Residence, the first activity of the Teresian Association in Uruguay.
PANAMÁ, World Youth Day 2019.
Victoria Díez will be present at the next World Youth Day to be held in Panamá from 22 to 27 of January 2019, with the theme “I am the servant of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” (Lk 1:38).
Under the slogan "If it's with you, I risk my life", in mid-October the XIII Assembly of Acit Joven, Youth Movement of the Teresian Association in Spain was held in Santa Maria de los Negrales, Madrid. Young people, group leaders and the members of the National Commission, shared, evaluated and celebrated the last three years of the Movement, designed the action plan for the next three years and elected its new representatives.
Today, May 4, the moment when Pope John Paul II proclaimed Pedro Poveda a saint in Madrid, 2003, comes back to the heart of many members, relatives and friends of the Teresian Association. The testimony of young people of Peru who have lived Easter in a special way invites us to give thanks, "to awaken hope and to persevere on its way."
In the celebration of its 800th anniversary, the University of Salamanca has contributed, along with other public institutions, to remember the presence of women in Study Centers, as a tribute to those who once passed through them without the recognition they deserved.
On Wednesday, March 29, Encarnita Gonzalez, postulator general of the Teresian Association, will give a presentation on "Josefa Segovia on the way to beatification. On the 60th anniversary of her death."
"Merciful young people, like the Father" was the motto of the Teresian Association of Guatemala to convene a Youth Day on December 18, with the aim of offering young people a space for prayer, reflection and celebration, centered on the Word of God. Participating young people were also motivated to constitute a group of young people of the Teresian Association to continue their formation.
Last October 10th marked the 125th anniversary of María Josefa Segovia's birth and the Teresian Associatioon in the Philippines celebrated it in a very special way. The renowned "Koro Madrigal” gave a concert in her honor.
