The film POVEDA, about the life of Saint Pedro Poveda, will be screened in some countries of Central America starting October 11th. It will also be screened once again in Munich, Germany, on Sunday, October 7.
OLIVEIRA DE AZEMÉIS, Portugal.
The film POVEDA was screened last Sunday, April 22, at the cinema-theater of Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal, with over than two hundred and twenty attendees.
The main hall of Cervantes Institute in Munich, Germany, next to the Royal Residence, was the place that hosted the screening of the movie POVEDA, in the afternoon of Friday, April 20.
On Friday, November 24, the film POVEDA was screened at the Festival on spiritual cinema, organized by the Episcopal Delegation of Social Media (MCS). The festival takes place throughout the month of November at “Cine Roma.”
The film POVEDA was chosen for the inaugural session of the XIII International Film Festival with Values (FIC) Guadalajara Mexico 2017, with the motto "Leaders create more leaders." The festival takes place from November 9-26. POVEDA was selected from among 90 films.
ORLANDO, United States.
Organizers of the International Christian Film Festival in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. (ICFF 2017) published the awards ceremony of their last edition in which the film POVEDA won the award for best Musical Score.

KIKWIT, Democratic Republic of Congo.
In the city of Kikwit in the South West region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the film POVEDA was shown to an audience of about 150 people on May 13 at Victoria Díez Center.
The film POVEDA was chosen by the public as best film at the second International Festival of Religious Films of Buenos Aires and Tandil, Argentina (Arfecine) and was awarded the Best Musical Score at the International Christian Film Festival in Orlando, Florida, USA (ICFF 2017). It was also broadcast on television in Venezuela and chosen among the best films with Christian content. The film continues to be shown in many auditoriums, cultural centers, schools, parishes, etc.
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic.
The film POVEDA was screened again in Dominican Republic. It was during Catholic Book Fair, held every two years and organized by Cursillo Movement. The screening took place on March 25 in the auditorium of Casa San Pablo. The film was the only one chosen to be presented at this event, which is aimed at disseminating publications by Catholic publishers and authors.
