Commemorative stamp for the 100th anniversary of St. Teresa School in León

LEÓN, Spain.
As part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of Saint Teresa School in León, the city's post office has issued a commemorative stamp.

Young people and school administrators were welcomed by Mr. José Julio Rodríguez Gómez, director of the main Post Office of León, who delivered the commemorative stamp for this centenary. The stamp is illustrated with the logo of this event, which includes the dates 1917-2017 and the emblem of the school.

The year 2017 will undoubtedly be a great year for the school and for the Teresian Association in León, as they remember and give thanks for so many people who, in the style of Poved’a charism and pedagogy, have dedicated their lives to teaching in this city.

In this context, on January 11, at 7:30 PM. an academic event will be celebrated by the Teresian Association and the School at San Marcos Hotel, León, to commemorate this centenary.  The keynote, by Consuelo Flecha García, will be: "From the Academy-Boarding School to St. Teresa School in León."
