"I was a stranger and you welcomed me" (Matthew 25: 35). The Pentecost Ecumenical Forum has convened a round table for November 12 on the occasion of the arrival of Syrian refugees and immigrants in Madrid. Everyone of good will is welcome to attend the round table.

This is an impressive story of the valuable work done in Amman by two members of the Teresian Association (TA) and another person at the Pontifical Library, where they welcome, support, and offer English classes. The gratitude of the refugees is enormous.
"The transforming power of prayer in Santa Teresa" was the title of the national congress to celebrate the V Centenary of the birth of the St. Teresa, held in Rome on October 10. The ceremony took place at the Gregorian University. They were many participants, coming from various parts of Italy, who filled the large auditorium.
Members of associations of the Teresian Association (TA) in Spain (ACIT and MIT) collaborate with the TA-supported NGO for Development InteRed in the campaign "Let's make an Alliance for Education." These entities have the same vision and mission on social transformation through education and humanizing actions to build a more just and united society, recognizing the dignity and human rights of each person.
With the theme "A different world is possible," over a hundred pilgrims from different backgrounds and religious traditions made the Camino de Santiago as pilgrims for peace and justice from Sahagún to Cruz del Ferro from August 31 till September 6.

On Sunday May 31, a healthcare Center opened in the town of Codao, in the area of Peumo, Chile, to serve families in need. It is a social project of the Teresian Association in this country of America.

On April 29, at Cathedral Square in Jaén, an emotional ceremony was held in memory of the recently deceased immigrants in the Mediterranean Sea as they tried to arrive in Europe. The event was organized by Jaen’s Rajab Project, the Secretariat for Migration, HOAC, Jaén “Acoge,” Amnesty International, and other organizations. A new facsimile of pamphlets by St. Pedro Poveda has just been published. This time the editor is a friend, Francisco Martínez Baeza, who put together several articles published by Don Pedro in the second half of 2012.

The Teresian Association (TA) in Peru celebrated the Day of Solidarity commemorating the anniversary of the birth of Saint Pedro Poveda on December 3. The theme was: "Our solidarity is enriched by embracing diversity."

This is a selection of texts chosen by Pedro Poveda in Covadonga, in 1912, for the teachers of the Academies.
