In the afternoon of Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Our Lady of Africa School in Malabo, the Third Encounter of former students of the Teresian Association in Equatorial Guinea was held, with the theme "United to do good!." This makes reference to a phrase of Saint Pedro Poveda.

The main hall of Cervantes Institute in Munich, Germany, next to the Royal Residence, was the place that hosted the screening of the movie POVEDA, in the afternoon of Friday, April 20.
Saint Pedro Poveda always lived the anniversaries of his priestly ordination and first mass with gratitude and depth. On April 17, 1897, he was ordained a priest in the chapel of the episcopal palace of Guadix and on April 21st he celebrated his first solemn Mass in the same place.

Because of these actions, a diplomatic offensive began with still uncertain results.

On Jan. 29-Feb 2, 2018, at the UN headquarters in NY. Maite Uribe, President of the Teresian Association and Emma Melgarejo, member of the Governing Council, attended the 56th session of the ECOSOC Commission for Social Development to achieve sustainable development for all.
